VISIT FLORIDA unveiled Florida’s largest tourism recovery campaign to date, launching a $5.75 million, multi-phase initiative in response to Hurricanes Helene and Milton. This powerful campaign highlights Florida’s resilient spirit and reassures global travelers that the Sunshine State remains open and eager to welcome visitors.

“Floridians are resilient and our incredible tourism industry is testament to this strength. VISIT FLORIDA is here to show the world that Florida is ready to welcome travelers,” said Dana Young, President and CEO of VISIT FLORIDA. “We are highlighting our iconic destinations, promoting hidden gems, and making it clear that Florida is still the top choice for travelers.”

The initial phase, already underway with an $800,000 paid social media campaign, features footage from over 10 vibrant Florida locations, including Amelia Island, Panama City Beach, Islamorada, and Pensacola. Themed “The Sun is Shining in Florida,” it reassures travelers that most of the state remains unaffected by recent storms and is open and ready for visitors.

The upcoming second phase will roll out a $3 million marketing push spotlighting fully recovered destinations like Tampa, Naples, and Ft. Myers. This phase will celebrate Florida’s rich array of attractions, inviting both visitors and locals to rediscover the state’s natural beauty and world-renowned hospitality.

In the third phase, VISIT FLORIDA will provide direct marketing support to the counties most impacted by the storms, such as Pinellas, Sarasota, and Manatee, as well as additional support for rural counties like Taylor, Dixie, and Levy. These targeted campaigns will launch as each destination fully recovers and is ready to welcome guests once more.

Through a coordinated effort with other state agencies, VISIT FLORIDA is committed to ensuring a full recovery for all Floridians, working closely with industry and state partners to sustain Florida’s thriving tourism industry. The post VISIT FLORIDA Unveils $5.75 Million Tourism Drive To Reinforce Florida As A Top Destination appeared first on Travel And Tour World.
