Las Vegas Awaits This February with Unforgettable Experiences in the Wedding Capital of the World™
Las Vegas, famously known as the Wedding Capital of the World™, is gearing up for another record-breaking February, a month synonymous with love and celebrations.
Las Vegas, famously known as the Wedding Capital of the World, is gearing up for another record-breaking February, a month synonymous with love and celebrations. In a special Valentine’s Day tradition, Clark County Clerk Lynn Marie Goya will once again bring the pop-up Marriage License Bureau to Harry Reid International Airport. From February 11 through February 25, couples can conveniently obtain marriage licenses right at the airport, ensuring their journey to wedded bliss begins as seamlessly as possible.
A Special Showcase for Wedding Enthusiasts
For the first time, visitors to the airport will have the chance to admire the 2024 Wedding Dress Design of the Year. This stunning creation, crafted by a talented designer from Las Vegas, will be on display near the Howard W. Cannon Aviation Museum on the second floor of Terminal 1, above baggage claim. The dress is the winning entry from the Wedding Capital of the World’s inaugural design contest, celebrating the artistic talent of the local community.
A Month Steeped in Romantic Milestones
February has held the title of “Wedding Month” in Las Vegas since 2022, a year marked by two significant events. The county issued its 5-millionth marriage license that February, and just days later, it celebrated “Twosday” (2/22/22), when a remarkable 2,341 couples tied the knot. Valentine’s Day remains the crown jewel of wedding dates in Las Vegas, with 12 of the city’s 20 most popular wedding days falling on February 14. The upcoming Valentine’s Day 2025, along with other numerically memorable dates like 2/5/25 and 2/25/25, promises to draw even more couples to the city for their special day.
Convenience Meets Romance
The pop-up Marriage License Bureau will operate daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Terminal 1 baggage claim, providing a convenient alternative to the downtown Marriage License Bureau, which remains open year-round from 8 a.m. to midnight. In addition to marriage licenses, the temporary office will issue vow renewal certificates, with all payments accepted via credit or debit card. As a delightful keepsake, the Clerk’s Office is offering a limited-edition design featuring the iconic Las Vegas skyline and classic Valentine conversation hearts.
A Destination Like No Other
With its world-class wedding services, iconic venues, and vibrant energy, Las Vegas continues to be a top destination for couples from around the globe. This February, the city is set to dazzle with its unique offerings, blending convenience, creativity, and romance. Whether exchanging vows or renewing them, couples can embrace the magic of love in a place that truly celebrates it.
“Couples love the excitement of the pop-up Marriage License Bureau at Harry Reid International Airport,” said Lynn Marie Goya, Clark County Clerk. “Love is always in the air during the month of February and our deputy clerks look forward to serving this special clientele. For eight years, the airport has been such a great partner, we are thrilled we have been able to bring this to our airport couples.”
