Homestead for the holidays at Mississippi Agriculture & Forestry Museum

To celebrate the upcoming winter holidays, join us at the Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum for the annual “Homestead for the Holidays” event on Thursday, December 7, and Friday, December 8, running from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Admission is $8 per person for ages 3 and up.

Experience the festive spirit with unique activities such as enjoying breakfast for supper, participating in story time with Mrs. Claus, and capturing memorable moments with Santa and Rudolph. Wander through Small Town to witness various agricultural demonstrations, and step into the Fortenberry-Parkman Farmstead to relive Christmas in the early 1920s.

Take a spin on the carousel, hop on train rides and hayrides, and immerse yourself in the lively tunes played throughout the grounds. Don’t miss the chance to write letters to Santa on limited-edition postcards created at the Small-Town Print Shop. Explore the General Store for nostalgic glass bottle drinks and distinctive Mississippi-made products that serve as perfect gifts and stocking stuffers.
