Festivities in Full Bloom: Medellín Flower Fair to Host Over 600,000 at Silleteros Parade

In Medellín, Columbia, the famous 2024 Flower Fair returns in style. In the Obelisk area, the fair will start with the inaugural concert. It is being anticipated that the show will be attended by over 20,000 people. Besides, on the artistic and musical stages, yet another 10 shows will be organized with the artists like El Combo de las Estrellas, Arelys Henao, Grupo Galé, Fernando González, El Binomio de Oro, Dálmata, among many others.

In six new places the Silleteros Parade will be completed with 530 participants. On Sunday, August 11th, this event will take place along Regional Avenue, south north, kick-starting at the Guayaquil Bridge to Plaza Mayor. Roughly 600,000 people are anticipated to participate in the vent.

Federico Gutiérrez, Mayor of Medellín, said that he wants to request all Colombians settled in other countries to come back to their homeland to live a memorable experience that is full of traditions and reminiscences.
