King Power ushers in the new year with a grand celebration, setting the stage for a vibrant start. The travel-retail behemoth showcases an event in honor of the Chinese New Year, welcoming the propitious Year of the Dragon with “King Power Chinese New Year 2024. Power Your Luck, Power Your Life.”

This celebration embarks on a quest for prosperity with the ‘Kingdom of Dragons’ theme, focusing on ‘Luck, Health, Wealth, Love.’ It’s a time to welcome the dragon’s powerful essence, spreading positivity, fortune, joy, and well-being to both local and international guests. The event aims to be a gathering point for communal joy, featuring exquisite feasts, blessings, improved fortunes, live music from celebrated artists, and exclusive promotions.

The festivities began on February 6, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. at Fountain Square in King Power Rangnam, highlighted by a spectacular dragon dance along Rangnam Road. The ceremony was honored by Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt and Thapanee Kiatphaibool, the Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT).

The 18-day extravaganza features god-worshipping rituals, magnificent dragon parades with celebrated artists leading the way, and a roster of events including performances by Yin-Anan Wong and Chamook-Suchanan Mahaphromwan, as well as a night with Nont-Tanont Chumroen and remarkable shows from China.

Attendees can explore “Auspicious Cuisine from over 50 Renowned Restaurants,” offering dishes from celebrated and Michelin-recognized establishments from February 1-18, 2024.
